“4”- Questions about self love (everything you need to know about self love)


Just ask yourself this, for a personality test .
Name 3 persons whom you love the most.”


 You might have taken your parents name , your siblings ,
 your spouse or friends . But did you took your name??

 And if 
you did ,well you pass this test . I know most of you haven’t.
I didn't either ! That got me into thinking , 
 the only person who will stay with me till the end of my life is me and 
still I did not love my self!!” That’s how we neglect the love 
and care for ourselves. We don’t really think
 about us. 


By love or care I don’t mean the healthy 
skin routine you are doing to get a glowing skin or a healthy
 diet you are following . It’s all physical love , it’s important too .


 But I m here talking about mental love and care, the Self love ,
 the one we can’t see , just feel. The fact is we all ignore it. 



There comes discouraging moments in all of our lives . It was in mine too, 
when I was in my high school. The extreme pressure to do well in my
 board exams got my nerves. That time I started doubting myself. At that time I was too young to know anything about self love .


 You surely have felt the same,the reason might be different .

 It might be body shaming,getting cheated by someone or not able to do your best when you tried so hard.

 
It took me a while to realize what is the thing that keeps you moving on during difficult times and I found , it is self-love. In this article I will discuss 4 questions to give you a clear vision about self affection. 


1.How do we lose self embracement? :
For some , like me , have neglected ourselves due to the unhealthy
 situations faced by us . 


Yet I have seen many cases where parents
 didn’t give that love to their child or teachers have neglected
 their student or the child got bullied , which resulted in self hatred.

 
2.Why self love is essential ?:
There was time when people around me made me realise my unworthiness .
 They were constantly making efforts to drag me down . 
And such a time comes in every ones life . That’s where self love plays it’s role. 


You can only pass hard times if you have respect towards yourself .
 Just imagine, how do you expect others to love you ,the way you are,
when even you don’t love yourself !!

3.What happens when you lose self love?:
This quality of us as humans is most underrated . We think wearing nice clothes or having nice dinner or roaming with some fake friends is all our love towards us! 


So we never realise , did we ever had affection towards us or it’s lost somewhere . Losing such a trait is not so good for us , here’s how; 


*. Loosing your identity:
You may lose your self worth , letting yourself around with humans who don’t really are good for you . 


It might be a relationship or a friendship which ends melancholic . People act around their friends just to fit in , yeah that’s true!  


*. Getting depressed:
Just as I said “ How do you expect others to love you , when you even don’t love yourself” . If you’ll not respect your identity others will too. Bad treatment from
 others will eventually make you feel depressed. 

*. You’ll be expecting others to love you: 
When you are not loving yourself , it’s probably you are getting 
dependent on others to love you!

 Which is again not so pretty. Under
 such situations the other person takes advantage of you. 


*. Self love is deep reflection of a person’s inner self: 
We treat others the way we treat ourselves .We can’t give love or appreciate 
others if we don’t admire us. That’s how the persons whom we like will leave us .


4.How to gain self admiration?:
The good news is we don’t need much to get back to us. We only need us. 
Some time for ourselves to work . 
 The thing is we don’t lose our selves ,its just that we forget loving 
during those hard times , when we need us the most!


 And so gaining yourself again is not so difficult. You can do these simple steps that helped me through my difficult times.



Practice solitude : 
Being an introvert doing this was easy for me.
When I say solitude all I mean is being by yourself in a quiet room 
and having deep thoughts. 


Thinking about all the strengths you have ,
 your weaknesses and what other things you can do
 to make your life more meaningful. Feel your soul .


 Do remember that there should be no digital devices with you .
 Even 20 minutes of great isolation works better.


 Help others: 
If you have ever helped anyone , you know how good it feels.
 Those smiles are just so pure. No matter how you help just do !
 You can help your friends in study’s , your grandparent in their daily 
  tasks or any strange who needs food . It will help you think positive.

 
Do hard things: 
Do you remember that feeling when you were afraid to do something 
but when you did ,it felt great . Your happiness had no limits .
 That’s how trying difficult things boosts your confidence.


 You’ll think as a winner. It will help you gain self respect .
 It can be waking up early in the morning or doing exercise or presenting your writing in front of class or going somewhere alone! It can be anything .



Honour your speciality : 

Accept your flaws . It’s okay to fail. Feel your uniqueness cause your the only one like you in this whole world. Stop taking someone’s word seriously.


 Try things that make you different from others , what you are good at. 
Just feel your amazing soul which is trying to fly high.
